This vessel was constructed in 2023 as part of an R&D programme to demonstrate the efficiency of the Optima hull. This resulted in one of the most efficient electric boats ever built with a range of over 200 nautical miles. The vessel has been tested over the last 3 years and the drive system upgraded with a RAD40 drive later in 2023. 126 kWh Batteries, 2 berths in 1 cabin, Toilet to Holding Tank, Chart Plotter, Bowthruster and much more. 

    The Optima e10 became the first ever electric boat to circumnavigate the Isle of Wight, on a single charge, so will always have a special place in maritime history & electric boat development. The e10 is optimised to cruise in comfort with minimal wash & no slamming thanks to the wave piercing hull. The e10 offers an exceptionally spacious and sociable cockpit including seating for 8 people, extensive galley facilities including a large fridge / freezer, induction hob and hot and cold water. The large carbon fibre and mahogany dining table provides a unique dining experience onboard for you and your guests. The Optima e10 covers ease of charging as she can be charged from any source from a 3 pin 13A plug or common 16A marina supplies through to fast charging on dedicated DC charges.
