TBS Hamble present this 1998 Sealine S28, a well-proportioned sportscruiser that offers a genuinely usable blend of performance and comfort for coastal and inland cruising.

Power comes from twin Volvo Penta KAD32 diesels driving DP-E outdrives, with 1300 hours on the clocks, giving a reassuring turn of speed with the flexibility twin engines bring for close-quarters handling. That handling is further improved by a Sleipner SE50 bow thruster, fitted in 2022 by Osmotech, making manoeuvring in marinas and tight berths straightforward.

On deck, a Lewmar Pro 700 electric anchor winch (replaced in 2021) and Delta anchor take the effort out of anchoring, while the davit system adds practicality for tender or equipment handling. Navigation is well equipped for passage-making, with a Raymarine C80 GPS and chart plotter linked via Seatalk, Raymarine radar, and an Autohelm Tridata ST50 for depth and log readings, alongside a Plastimo compass. Safety equipment includes a Shipmate RS8300 VHF, twin fire extinguishers, automatic bilge pump and lifebuoy.

Below decks, the S28 offers a comfortable and practical cruising interior, complete with a Jabsco sea toilet, shower, Smev gas oven and Eno gas hob, and a 12-volt refrigerator. Diesel heating, replaced in 2021, extends the cruising season into cooler months, while shore power and a Newmar RM20 battery charger keep the boat ready to go. Fuel and water capacities of 414 litres and 170 litres respectively support extended time afloat.
